This is a newly created role to start move their headquarter location to Hong Kong. You will recruit a team of HR to support their international offices including Asia, UK and the US.
Our client is a leading consumer product company with a successful and well established vertical supply chain integration. The company has their own product development centers, manufacturing plants , retail outlets as well as their B2B sales channels. It is listed in Hong Kong and have strong presence in Asia as well as the UK and US.
Reporting to the senior management team in Hong Kong, you will be instrumental with the recruitment and set up of the headquarters in Hong Kong and oversea the HR function in Asia, US and UK. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including HR policy, procedure development and implementation, recruitment, C&B, talent development, employer branding, employee relations and performance management. Specifically, you will act as a HR business partner to review and implement organisational development initiatives according to business plans.
To qualify, you will have a minimum of 12-15 years HR generalist experience gained from multinational organizations with regional or international coverage. A thorough understanding of leading edge HR practices in HK and international markets will be required. Suitable candidates must have high levels of initiative and business acumen as well as a strategic mind-set and exceptional influencing skills to drive change. A hands -on working style, strong business and customer oriented approach , and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels will be key. Occasional travel will be required. Proficiency in English and Chinese languages will be essential.
