Job Description

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

You will

  • oversee the day-to-day operations of one of those are fine-dining restaurants. Duties include but not limit to staff rostering, training, daily administration and budget control
  • providing leadership and direction to staff in delivering excellent service in line with membership service pillars and exceed Members’ expectations
  • drive and accountable for the business results of the restaurants
  • work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and Head Sommelier on food promotions, marketing programming, cost effective and seasonal menu planning
  • create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve our service standards

You should have

  • a Diploma in Hotel Management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience at managerial level in fine dining restaurants in prestigious hotels or organization
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverages
  • knowledge of wine at WSET Level 3 or above
  • experience in managing multiple outlets
  • pre-opening experience in hospitality / restaurant is an advantage
  • knowledge of fining dining service skills with focus on gueridon service
  • strong awareness and anticipation of market trends
  • have integrity, is trustworthy, dependable, responsible and accountable
  • have a keen eye for detail and seek for improvements
  • good communication skills in both English and Chinese
