Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist General Manager to formulate the marketing strategies for brand, product and partner opportunities. Manage and supervise sales and marketing performance to ensure KPI achievement
  • Assist General Manager to manage the annual marketing and budget planning to achieve long term business goals for the Canadian market
  • Implement E-commerce plan both B2C and HAKH holidays, to achieve E-commerce sale KPI target
  • Track and evaluate digital marketing strategies from Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics and other platforms as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media and distribute press releases for new product launches
  • Facilitate and manage community activations or media event opportunities
  • Plan and coordinate annual sales appreciation event with local sales team
  • Identify, evaluate and develop joint promotions with community partners to achieve brand goals
  • Work closely with local sales team and Marketing, Corporate Communications, E-Commerce, Service Delivery, Finance and other related departments from head office to achieve and implement marketing goals and programs
  • Manage the production and inventory of local marketing materials
  • Support General Manager with data mining, data analysis, and fulfil other sales and marketing tasks assigned by General Manager

Requirements 

  • Bachelor degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing supporting role  
  • Experience in the travel and/or aviation industry is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with performance driven digital marketing landscape
  • Strong marketing communication skills across various marketing mix channels including digital, social, print, radio, content, etc. on mainstream and Chinese media
  • Working knowledge of GDS booking system (TravelSky/Sabre/Amadeus) an asset
  • Excellent in Excel (Advanced Level), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc..
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, able to multi-task, and work well independently and within a team
  • Excellent problem solving capabilities, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • A strong understanding and interest in current marketing and branding best practices in the travel/aviation industry, with the ability to bring insights to the team
