To be responsible for the planning and daily execution of new product development projects; and maintaining project schedules as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets.
-Project follow-up from design to production.
-Direct / Daily touch with customers to collect, acquire requirements.
-Serve as the communicator between Sales team & factory people.
-Timely address all incoming technical questions and enquiries.
-To co-ordinate with other departments to secure resources needed for projects
-Proactively reach out to customers to ensure a successful evaluation processes and train and advice customers to prevent issues before they occur
-Fully responsible for implementation schedules to ensure smooth flow of the project implementation
-Engage with customers to create strong relationships with technical staff
-Potentially also reach out to new customers and initiate a technical dialog
-Strong technical competences and hands-on experience in watch or metal industry, preferably in OEM
-Ability to translate technical problems and solutions into documentation
-Self-starter and ability to work highly independently
-Degree in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
-Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as field application engineer;
-Good Technical knowledge and strong ability in development and design in supports to customers worldwide;
-Experience using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro-Engineer, etc.)
-Proficiency in Putonghua and English. Fluency in French, German would be an added advantage
-Must have Order Management experiences.
-Strong negotiation skills & presentation skills.
-Experiences in metal or watch industry would be an advantage
-Willing to travel frequently in Southern China;
