Job Description

The Sales Manager is a field sales position whose job is to prospect for new businesses through cold calling. The chosen candidate must have demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting/cold calling, relationship development, proposal writing, negotiations, closing the sale, and follow-up. You will spend 80% of your time calling on new prospects and customers and is comfortable selling to different levels of people within the prospect’s organization.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities for ScentAir by cold calling and visiting new prospects.
  • Call and visit prospective customers in person and establish customer needs, buying cycles, and create a customer-supplier relationship.
  • Prepare sales information and sales contracts for prospective customers and present the information in face-to-face meetings at the customer’s place of business.
  • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for accounts in assigned territory.
  • Secure customer orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment. Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database including sales pipeline account details, contact information, and selling activities. 
  • Prepare selling forecasts and update as needed.
  • Manage assigned accounts when expressly authorized.
  • Meet sales quotas and continually grow sales in assigned territory

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong cold calling experience/ Sales hunter mentality
  • The ideal candidate must have 5+ years’ of successful and verifiable outside B2B sales experience in any of the following sectors: hospitality (Hotel, serviced apartment), retail, property developer/ management office and/or hospital/ medical/ dental clinic
  • Must have current and established contacts at Director/ GM/ VP level in the targeted sectors
  • Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese
  • Must have a drive to succeed and achieve/ exceed sales quota in a service oriented sales environment while demonstrating superior personal integrity and professional ethics
  • Ability to ask for the order/get signed contracts from customers
  • Works well under deadlines and quotas
