Job Description


Main purpose:

  • Responsible for the overall Sales performance of Hong Kong retail and export markets including managing and driving distributors so as to achieve required KPIs.
  • To be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives for Hong Kong retail and export markets.
  • To oversees the implementation of all marketing, advertising and promotion activities for Hong Kong retail and export markets.


Main duties and responsibilities:

Sales Function:

  • Responsible for the overall Sales performance of Hong Kong Retail and Export markets.
  • Review Hong Kong Key Accounts Weekly sales report in conjunction with Price Survey and OOS reports with Distributor and monitor market sales trend and performance.
  • Coordinate with Distributor to implement planned promotion activities in Key accounts for Hong Kong retail market so as to achieved budget target.
  • Responsible conduct regular market store visit in Hong Kong so as to ensure proper product merchandising, distribution and pricing are in place at store level.
  • Responsible for implementing proper pricing strategy for all retail products for Hong Kong retail market including working with Distributor to manage and control Key Accounts' Trading Terms at acceptable level.
  • Work with team member and review monthly Stock & Sales Analysis for Export markets and track monthly sales performance including giving guidance regarding to Sales push.
  • Responsible for working with team member so as to implement proper pricing strategy for all products for Export markets.
  • Responsible to work with Distributor to implement new product listing for Hong Kong Retail and Export markets.
  • Prepare, consolidate and review monthly Key Account and Channel Sales Analysis report for Hong Kong Retail and Export markets so as to track overall performance.
  • Responsible for the annual budget planning for Hong Kong Retail and Export market.

 Marketing Function:

  • Responsible for working with the team in planning and implementing overall marketing strategy for Hong Kong Retail and Export markets including managing and guiding the team and distributors so as to achieved desirable results.
  • Responsible for setting guidelines and benchmarks for the team and Distributors regarding the actual execution of Trade marketing promotion activities.
  • Responsible for the planning and allocation of resources with respect to markets and manage it within the agreed overall marketing budget.
  • Responsible to manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities; including analyzing related sales data and competitive market information.
  • Responsible for working with Brand Team regarding new product development including planning and implementing the respective positioning; pricing; packaging and launching strategy.
  • To be resourceful and conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products. This includes measuring in-market merchandising requirements.
  • Responsible for the annual marketing budget planning for Hong Kong retail and export markets.



  • Degree holder in Business Studies, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Over 6 years of relevant Key Accounts (Modern Trade) working experience
  • With good knowledge in HK major retail chains
  • Sound business acumen and result oriented
  • Good command of written & spoken Chinese, English and Putonghua
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
