Managing SCADA system execution which includes, design specification, hardware, and network setup, software development, in-house and on-site testing of the complete system, and commissioning.
Analyze the system behavior and enhance technical performance.
Coordination and execution of the project in cooperation with the engineering team based in the Netherlands and the US.
Coordinate with customer and subcontractors to resolve SCADA related issues and problems to the satisfaction of the customer/company.
Site progress monitoring, reporting to site supervisor/project manager.
Contributing towards risk analysis and contingency management.
Deriving test plans for material handling systems.
Perform on-site tests by following the test plans and log test results.
On-site troubleshooting of SCADA software and modification.
Resolve product/project related problems.
Monitoring of electromechanical equipment like panels, motors, conveyors, barcode and volume scanners, weighing scale.
Notifying the defects in electromechanical equipment on-site to the site supervisor.
Involved in complete system handover to the customer.
Work on quotation bids with the systems and sales department on new projects and/or on project changes.
Makes improvements in content, way of working, and tooling by giving feedback on lessons learned from the project.
Support R&D team to test and verify the product library and roll out the product library to project.
Engineering degree, preferably in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SCADA commissioning.
Proven skills in understanding and designing SCADA systems, PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley) programs, and networks.
Exceptional organizational skills and a track record of working effectively in a team environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as proven success presenting ideas to vendors, associates, and customers.
Willing to travel and able to work during irregular hours as required.
