One of the top international law firms in the market has developed their Legal Secretarial Support team with around 30 team members across all practice area and they are currently hiring the Legal Secretarial Manager to manage the team in Asia so as to ensure all lawyers are fully supported in administrative area.
Reporting to the COO and Head of Facilities, you will be working independently on all secretarial management work as you will be the person in charge of the services of day / time / part-time as well as temporary secretaries.
The main responsibilities will include attending management meetings, arranging man power and planning roaster, conducting one on one appraisal and yearly performance review, hiring and coaching new staff, reviewing the legal secretarial work flow, preparing various management reports and conducting marketing research on secretarial support services standard.
You will also act as the key contact point of the team as you will be responsible for answering queries from lawyers on legal support services, closely working with HR on recruitment and staff relations matters, communicating with regional offices on various secretarial services matters and closely working with IT and facilities team for office space planning.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should have the following requirements:
• Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years working experience and at least 1 year on secretarial support management or business services in-charge, preferably with law firm exposure
• Excellent communication ability in both Chinese and English will be essential
• Good presentation, organization and management skills will be required
• Welcome experienced, mature and skillful candidates working as Office Manager / Senior Legal Secretary at the moment
