Job Description

The Department

Information Technology and Sustainability Division will provide innovative technology solutions that contribute significantly to the Club's mission and strategic objectives.

The Job

You will:

  • Take the lead role in delivering business requirements including the review and signoff within the agreed timeline and budget.
  • The requirement areas covers:
    • Pari-mutuel Wagering
    • Common Services
    • Communication between customer sales channel systems
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that the documented business requirement can be fulfilled
  • Work closely with business team and relevant stakeholders to ensure user business requirement is properly converted from user requirement
  • Documentation of the business requirements according to the requirements of the PMU programme
  • Work with the project team to define iterations and how to deliver more iteratively


About you

You should have:

  • University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or extensive experience and understanding of HKJC betting operations especially around horse racing and lottery wagering and/or branch and call centre operations
  • Strong capability in problem determination and problem solving
  • Good understanding of IT project management and status reporting
  • Capacity of building strong working relationships with internal IT &business managers, and must be a team player
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • Good knowledge on gambling or gaming industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word and Excel
  • Experience in using business analysis tools, requirement repository tools other project delivery tools such as Jira, Serena
  • Basic understanding on Data and Business Architecture


Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
