Job Description

The Department

Our IT Infrastructure and Operation Services Department drives and leverages technology refreshment and best practice service management principles, to provide cost-effective and efficient infrastructure and technical environment, data centre management, and valued end-user services

The Job

You will:

  • Support the development and deployment of new workplace technologies with particular focus on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to meet business needs and IT workplace roadmap
  • Manage project deliverables by prioritizing, tracking, and completing assigned tasks.
  • Handle escalation and trouble-shooting/monitoring support activities for VDI
  • Support problem cases and system administration for VDI
  • Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure VDI configuration standards are followed
  • Review changes to the solutions and propose improvements from system support’s perspectives; participate to the deployment stage, and conduct documents up-to-date at all regularly
  • Ensures that third party solutions follow all the Club standards

 

About You

You should have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in which at least 1 year in project management in a medium to large enterprise
  • At least 1 year experience in VDI on-going support
  • Solid domain knowledge with one or more of the following VDI platforms – Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Hyper-V, Huawei VDI, and NetScaler
  • Preferred qualifications – MCSE, PMP, ITIL
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skill, able to work well with different levels including internal users and external service providers and suppliers
  • Good writing skill to document and present technical issues; and prepare project and resolve reports

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
