Senior Engineer (Ref. 21041507-E2)
The appointee will join the Building Services, Construction and Safety Stream and be required to:
(a) assist in formulating the Stream’s development strategies and participate in its management;
(b) develop, lead and conduct teaching and hands-on learning subjects at degree and sub-degree levels, including preparation of teaching materials and supervision of student projects;
(c) assist in teaching and learning programme design, development and administration;
(d) undertake R&D and consultancy activities; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Centre or his delegates.
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised higher degree or degree in Construction Engineering or a related discipline plus not less than five years of solid engineering and supervisory experience;
(b) good knowledge of BIM applications (such as Revit/Civil 3D/Navisworks/Rhino/Dynamo etc., in the field of building and construction) and at least three years of relevant practical experience;
(c) the ability to work with people of different background to undertake technical development projects;
(d) strong project management and leadership skills; and
(e) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
