Job Description

Our client is a global buying office with HQ overseas. To cope with their growth, they're looking for a Senior Fabric Merchandiser to join their Material Team.





  • Ensure fabrics quality meets the brand requirements form development to bulk production
  • Provide fabric suppliers to identify possible defects before final production
  • Assist in coloring approval process and review color submissions or rejections - providing technical support to fabric mills
  • Work closely with R&D Department to ensure fabrics integrity
  • Review all reports from R&D Department for further sourcing execution
  • Provide product safety guidance to R&D Department and suppliers to ensure all safety requirements are met
  • Conduct internal and external training for vendors and fabric mills



  • Bachelor Degree or High Diploma holder in textile or other disciplines
  • At least 6-8 years' experience in fabric planning/merchandising/color evaluation and exposure in textile manufacturing is an advantage
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English, Chinese, Cantonese & Mandarin
  • Computer knowledge in MS Office, particular strong skill on use of MS Excel (e.g. vlookup)
  • Able to travel around Asian factories as requested
