Job Description

A European based insurance company with over 500 headcount sitting in HK is currently seeking a seasoned junior HRBP to join the team.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager your role covers various HR Projects inclusive of manpower planning, salary review, performance management and market survey. You will also gain an exposure in HR System integration and enhancement.

  • A Generalist position with strong focus in Business Partnering, HR Projects, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation Management
  • Act as business partner to provide consultative advice to designated Corporate divisions and to the employees on the employee relation issues. React to any employee / management inquiries at first time and follow up the whole communication circle
  • Work with line managers on resourcing strategy and plans; ensure timely delivery of quality candidates aligning with individual departmental needs / growth
  • Involve within employee engagement events and facilitate HR projects such as annual performance reviews, salary survey, budget and headcount planning, orientation programme
  • Suggest and collaborate with the department heads to review, update and implement HR policies & procedures according to local regulations and house rules
  • Liaise with Regional HR on handling secondment / expat management if needed
  • Assume any other projects / assignments from time to time


  • Degree holder in Human Resources or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience; exposure in multi-national environment preferred.
  • An experienced business partner with a strong generalist background
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English as well as Cantonese; knowledge on Mandarin would be a plus
  • Strong relationship builder and a team player with customer service mind-set
  • Well-versed with Hong Kong and Macau Labour Ordinance
