Our client is a high-end retailer and they are looking for a Senior Human Resource Manager. This is a newly created position due to business expansion and will lead a team of 6 staff in talent acquisition and total rewards, reporting to the HR Director.
·Develop and implement short and long-range programs and initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness, professional development, and overall management and performance of employees
·Innovate in talent management, in engagement and retention strategy, and drive strategies to develop bench-strength and succession plans
·Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people practices and strategies to support the objectives of the business.
·Review and revamp the overall efficiency of existing recruitment processes and channels
·Drive Employer Branding campaigns initiatives
·Partner closely with Senior stakeholders (Dept. Heads) to understand hiring needs and formulate recruitment strategies
·provide ideas and strategic plan to elevate the function to be a proactive and a value adding partner to the business
·analyze, design and manage the incentive compensation framework including remuneration, bonus and grading structure
·prepare and provide regular group management reports to analyse the data against market activities to proactively make strategic decisions
To succeed in this key role you will have at least 10 years working experience with 5 years or above in managerial level.
·Bachelor's degree and/or an MBA or Master's degree in human resources or a related field of study.
·Previous experience working in retail space will be a plus
·Candidate coming from generalist background will be advantageous
·Client-focused mindset evidenced by an ability to learn and understand the business as well as act as a strategic business thinker beyond traditional HR responsibilities.
·Clear-thinker with the courage to provide input to business leaders and the judgement to know when to engage.
·Solid HR fundamentals developed through practical experience within a best-in-class organization around: performance management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational development, compensation, employee relations and organizational change.
·Full life-cycle recruiting experience; prior experience working with search firms (retained and contingent) is a plus.
·Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
·Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, effective judgement and sensitivity who is adaptable to the changing needs of a business within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
