Job Description

We are looking for someone to work as part of a dynamic team, assisting in scoping, leading and conducting audits across the group of a global insurance firm. The successful applicant will contribute the greater strategic development and provide assurance over the enterprise risk framework. This role would be offered as an initial contract for 8 months and be likely to go permanent upon completion of the contract.


  • Support the Regional Head of Internal Audit in planning and delivering audit activities
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of the internal audit function through methodology and quality assurance
  • Identify key risks and controls throughout operations
  • Provide audit expertise and insight to the annual internal audit planning and board reporting processes
  • Design, documentation and maintenance of audit methodology and associated frameworks
  • Deliver quality audit work papers including control identification, control design and operate effectiveness testing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Occasional travel required


  • Degree holder or above
  • Internal audit/ risk management experience gained in financial institutions is essential
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal audit standards and legislative and regulatory interpretation and application skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
