Job Description

Responsibilities:   

  • Lead, manage and monitor all IT operations services within the Group plus vendor management for system provided by outside vendors.
  • Maintain network infrastructure and systems ensuring availability and data integrity;
  • With strong business acumen, manage and oversee all IT functions including systems development and maintenance; deployment, operations, infrastructure and capacity management and so forth;
  • To cope with business objectives and group’s strategies, play a key role in formulating IT plan, strategy, goals, policies & procedures and IT Disaster Recovery and Contingency Plan;
  • Manage resources planning and allocation to accomplish business and IT objectives;
  • Initiate ideas and development of new products and services; identify and drive improvements in operations efficiency, procedures, service quality and better utilization of resources;
  • Keep up to date IT standard government policies and related guidelines from SFC, and keep all system in line with SFC requirements. 

 

Requirements:   

  • Diploma or above in Computer Science or IT equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT field, 5 years of which in securities or financial services industry with system development, infrastructure, system and project management, data center management maintenance, analysis or design background;
  • Familiar with regulations is preferable;
  • Working knowledge of basic support technologies (Windows, SOA compliant, Web Based services, SQL etc.) and network infrastructure design and security (LAN/WAN, firewall etc.)
  • Especially in brokerage network design (BSS, open gateway, etc.), familiar with Ayers, GTS and BOS, Market Rehearsal experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and delivery capability to successfully implement program;
  • Able to work independent, responsible and well-organized;
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as IT Manager.
