Job Description:

The role of a Senior Marketing Executive is to develop and implement integrated digital marketing plan to include website, search engine optimization, paid search, online partnerships, email marketing, social media, mobile marketing and membership marketing strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continually review and optimize the website and mobile functionality, site architecture and user interface for IT and web design agencies and technology vendors to increase direct traffic and support online ticketing programs
  • Co-ordinate with Singapore Marketing Team to grow engagement and traffic/ follower to social media pages. Keep on top of social media trends and explore networks and new tools as needed
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the development of strategic direction for digital marketing, Public Relations, events, and partnerships
  • Develop and review all marketing and promotions materials for the attraction including all collateral materials, signage, website content, and social media initiatives
  • Oversee the creation, planning, and coordination of on premise events, ensuring accurate execution of promotions, including communication across all supporting departments
  • Check, edit and/or write copy for social media, marketing collaterals, press releases etc.
  • Work closely and collaborate with media and PR agencies and external production team on product launches, key events, news and highlights
  • Grow membership and fan base by building brand awareness, driving conversions and retention through community management, activations, events and partnership
  • Support in any ad-hoc marketing activities as assigned by Marketing Manager


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 3 years of working experiences, preferably in a supermarket, F&B, FMCG or retail environment
  • Experience in planning, executing and managing campaigns and promotions for consumers
  • Experience in retail marketing, digital marketing and/or loyalty program management
  • Strong verbal communication skills supported by a positive “can do” attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked and can work under pressure
  • Eager to learn, self-motivated, well-organized and responsible
  • Good command of written and spoken in English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Familiar with MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS skills is preferable
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered as Assistant Marketing Manager

Don Quijote, a Japanese discount retail chain famously known as “Donki”, is expanding to Southeast Asia as Don Don Donki.

Don Quijote Group's holding company for overseas operations, Pan Pacific International Holdings Pte. Ltd. (PPIH) based in Singapore, will develop the Don Don Donki stores for Southeast Asia.

The Don Quijote Group was established in 1980 and opened its first Don Quijote general discount store in 1989. It has since steadily expanded its business and its network of stores by developing a unique type of business based on its store concept of providing “convenience,” “discount” and “amusement,” and by pursuing mergers and acquisitions.

Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1998 and restructured under a pure holding company in 2013, it has grown into a general retailing group with 350 stores, the cumulative number of customers reaching 300 million a year and annual consolidated sales topping 800 billion yen in Japan. Its revenue and operating profit have increased for 27 consecutive years.

Outside Japan, the Group has been operating three Don Quijote USA stores in Hawaii since 2006. In July 2013, PPIH was established in Singapore as the headquarters of the Don Quijote Group’s overseas operations. In September of the same year, Marukai Corporation, which operates nine stores in California and two stores in Hawaii, came under the umbrella of the Group.

At home and abroad, the Don Quijote Group has not only provided customers with what they needed when they needed it but also built a business model to help them enjoy shopping.
