Senior Merchandiser (Garment/ Textile)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist Merchandising Manager in various kinds of projects & product development
- Product sourcing, Risk assessment on new developing items
- Sample preparation, evaluation and order follow up
- Negotiate price & solve the technical problem or order issue with factories and vendors
- Maintain good relationship with the factories and vendors.
- Arrange vendor/customer meeting and factory visit
- Coordinate & participates trade fairs/exhibitions
- Handle ad hoc assignments as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or above in Clothing/ Textiles preferable
- More than 8 years related Garment/textiles working experience
- Experience in knitted and woven items, baby clothing and bedding has advantage
- Familiar in Oeko-tex/ EU & US testing requirement
- Have Garment & textiles factories/vendors network
- Fluent in speaking Mandarin, Cantonese, English
- Good at typing and writing English, Traditional & Simplified Chinese
- Self-motivation, responsibility, circumspect
- With good interpersonal and communication skills
- Well organize & good time management
- Hard working and can work under pressure
- Occasional business trip to China and overseas
- Proficient in Microsoft office
