Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an HR Senior Officer/Associate Manager, who is an entrepreneurial and ambitious HR professional and change catalyst with all-round HR experience, who will manage the full spectrum HR operations and help to drive our strategy to achieve operational excellence.

You must be an avid learner and single-minded in your ambition to develop yourself in all aspects of HR management throughout the employment cycle, a hands-on team player with a strong motivation to continually improve processes and strategies.

To succeed, you need determination, discipline, and a strong sense of what is appropriate and necessary, as well as above-average emotional intelligence, to execute all people decisions.

This role will work closely with our multicultural management team, the HQ HR teams in Europe, and other stakeholders at multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and streamline HR functions throughout the employment cycle incl. Recruitment & on-boarding, C&B, Budget planning, Organizational development, Training & development, Performance management, Policies and procedures, Analyses and benchmarking, Staff engagement, Conflict resolution, Disciplinary action, Termination etc.
  • Support the formulation and implementation of HR strategy to support business transformation
  • Keep abreast of market trends. Use analyses, benchmarking and tools to enhance processes
  • Plan, organize and deliver training to enhance managerial skills
  • Organization structuring & succession planning
  • Support line managers on performance management, team development, disciplinary actions
  • Identify improvement needs and escalate talent issues timely
  • Apply deep knowledge of legal requirements to mitigate risks & ensure compliance
  • Enhance internal communication across group companies

Requirements

  • Degree or above in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Education
  • 4-5 years of HR professional experience, ideally 1-2 of which at supervisory level
  • Grit and determination, hard-working and hands-on
  • Eager to learn, curious, open-minded
  • Can work under pressure, excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Above-average emotional strength
  • Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality and self-discipline
  • Precise, meticulous and detail-minded
  • Work well with numbers as well as concepts and emotions
  • Strong analytical, collaborative, and presentation skills
  • Strong research and benchmarking skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English & Cantonese
  • Experience with MNC (ideally German MNC)
  • Ideally experienced in fashion and/or sourcing/trading industry
  • Willing to travel in the region 1-2 times per year
