Job Description

Job responsibilities:

  • To support our business expansion, it is a newly created position to assist the Senior Project Manager in Hong Kong office (Regional Headquarters)
  • Work closely with Product Team in US Headquarters, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as well as translation vendors for new product development in different Asian languages
  • Manage multiple translation projects in Asian languages in terms of planning, scheduling, job assignment, budget and timeline
  • Conduct professional review of translation to ensure the quality can be attained
  • Learn and leverage on translation management system to overcome project’s complexity
  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate Glossary List
  • Handle ad hoc projects assigned by the Management

Job Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in Translation, Communications, Linguistic or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in Project Management and experience in translation companies will be a plus
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in order to meet project schedule
  • Experience in computer-assisted translation tool is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal English and Chinese
  • Strong analytical skill and problem-solving skill
  • Excellent computing skills in MS office software including Excel (e.g. Pivot Table), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to learn and understand ACAMS’s services and training offerings (study of the ACAMS Coursework is required)
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and be productive with minimum supervision (“Whatever it takes to get it done” attitude)
  • Fluency in Thai or Vietnamese or any other Asian languages is a plus
