Role Summary
 
The role is responsible for closing direct sales of products and/or services in order to meet individual/team quotas and the organization's business objectives.  Also, it is important that you effectively build and maintain rapport with target customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
 
Key responsibilities
 

  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. 
  • Responsible for inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers. 
  • Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction by following established processes and procedures. 
  • Promotes and sells technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers.      
  • Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices for such. 
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. 
  • Produces revenue in line with the organization's and individual targets/quotas. 

Requirements  
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a scientific field. 
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience or      equivalent 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care; experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
