Job Description

The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing relationship with ultra-high net worth clients and providing financial advice aimed at capital preservation and wealth creation.

Our client is an international leading bank with a long presence, providing quality financial services and extensive wealth products to clients worldwide. As part of business expansion in Asia, they are seeking a high caliber professional for the position of Relationship Director to join their Retail Banking team. This is a senior role within wealth management.


  • To manage the total wealth of clients by matching investment products and financial services to the diverse needs of ultra-high net worth clients
  • To achieve profit growth by developing existing client relationships and acquiring new clients
  • To conduct financial reviews and provide tailored-made advice for wealth creation and capital preservation
  • To interpret the changing needs of clients and deliver exceptional quality services to exceed expectations
  • To coach, mentor and motivate team members on skillsets and activity planning
  • To work collaboratively with other internal business partners to support branch improvement initiatives and increase client loyalty
  • To maintain a high level of operational integrity and adhere to local and global compliance


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline
  • Solid years of experience in serving ultra-high net worth clients at a financial institution
  • Expert knowledge in wealth products, both investment and insurance
  • High level of customer centricity mindset and ability to develop long term client partnerships
  • Proven track record and sales results in wealth products and portfolio management
  • Effective communication, influencing and sales skills
  • Holder of relevant investment and insurance licenses. Certified Financial Planner or other relevant qualification would be an advantage
  • Proactiveness and ability to engage with colleagues, coach and manage designated support staff
  • Strong awareness of operational risk, internal controls and compliance
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
