To cope with our "AppleSpot” business expansion, we are looking for a high calibre, energetic & positive candidate to fill the following position:
Position : Senior Software Engineer (Android) (13 months Salary)
Responsibilities:
- Develop mobile apps (Android)
- Document and implement high level detailed design specifications
- Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver new features
- Working with multi-disciplined teams of developers, UX, designers and architects
- Perform any tasks which are assigned by team lead
Requirements:
- Degree Holder in Computer Science/ Information Technology or any related disciplines
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app development
- Solid experience in native Android app development is a must
- Proficiency in Java / Kotlin
- Experience with REST-based APIs
- Experience with rich push notification
- Experience with location-based services (GPS and beacon)
- Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager is a plus
- Experience with collaborative application development using source control tools and strategies for using source control (e.g. GIT or Bitbucket)
- Familiar with web development is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset and communication skills
- Strong in problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical thinking
- Must be able to work independently, experience working in an agile team is preferred
- Passion with latest bleeding-edge technologies
