Job description

  • Develop sales leads through prospecting and networking with partners and industry contacts for the key accounts
  • Close business on an ongoing basis to meet the booking objectives
  • Grow the large retrofit businesses and maintenance contracts orders from the existing accounts through, such as, cross selling, upgrades and additional works
  • Maximise Honeywell’s market penetration and value capture in the building services business by developing opportunities through personal selling to target accounts and actively participating in sales capture teams on target projects
  • Leverage opportunity for the sales team by building partnerships with vendors, consultants, integrators where these relationships can increase market penetration and expand the Honeywell offering
  • Work with Management Team in establishing market trends, appropriate strategies and product development roadmaps including necessary tools and processes
  • Deploy new business initiatives
  • Collaborate with Honeywell team peers to share and impart knowledge.
  • Leverage resources to address customer drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner.
  • Guide and leverage management and executive sponsor interactions with the customer.
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness of customer’s next best alternatives and communicate competitive challenges to sales management and technology teams in a timely manner.
  • Manage sales activity and actively embrace the HBS Sales Management Operating System to include one on one’s with supervisor and team members, team meetings, forecasting meetings, opportunity reviews, Plan to Make Plan (PtmP) development with timely and accurate updates.



  • Degree holder. Possess professional qualification in Engineering industry is an advantage
  • 5-8 years solution sales experience in Building Service / Building Automation Business OR mechanical (HVAC) service business OR Fire Service business OR IT solution selling experience with proven track record on selling complex solutions     
  • Possess strong sales technique
  • Strong networking or involvement with industry associations and / or learned societies will be an asset
  • Possess knowledge of Honeywell systems/products or similar in this industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of automation & control applications is an advantage
  • Strong commitment to satisfying and exceeding customer expectations
  • Good ability to execute strategies promptly and effectively with direct improvement to the business
  • Well developed business analysis skills including opportunity and risk assessment
  • People supervision skill with the ability to set high expectations and manage to expectations
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skill
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated and have ability to work independently
  • A good team player
  • Willing to travel to Macau
