Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Technical leader and trusted adviser in the area of cloud computing across Greater China
  • Serve a key member in helping to define and deliver the joint solution set and supporting collateral.
  • Set a strategic joint business development plan for Hong Kong & Taiwan and ensure it is in line with the strategic direction.
  • Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, BD, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • Assist the Key Account in building an centre of excellence within their organization enabling them to offer and deliver based solutions to joint customers
  • Work with specific partner Innovation Centres within the key account enabling them to deploy prototype solutions using high-level services in the Machine Learning, Voice, Chatbots, IoT and Augmented/Virtual Reality domains
  • Assist key account by enabling them on services by delivering technical workshops, lead white boarding sessions & being the key technical advisor to them on services.
  • Guide and mentor our strategic partner consultants by executing on Proof of Concepts, and advising them on the best-practices to architect solutions in a performant, scalable, secure, and highly available manner on the platform for our joint customers
  • Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers, technical case studies, or blog posts with our partners
  • Understand diverse perspectives of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep technical skills by jointly designing and developing industry and vertical solutions

Requirements

  • The right person will possess 8+ years of Solutions Architecture and partner management experience with 5+ years of experience working with GSIs
  • Deep expertise in technology areas including: relational databases, analytics, big data, IoT, enterprise applications, serverless computing, containers, machine learning, web applications, security, networking, storage, or application development
  • Passion for technology with some hands on experience within the last three years
  • Able to deliver technical presentations to a wide audience
  • Past experience leading white boarding sessions and delivering workshops to architects, operations staff, developers, and cloud technologists
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and act tactically, about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Technology Breadth: Demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
  • Technology Depth: Demonstrate detailed knowledge of concepts, implementation, patterns, and issues of at least a couple of technology areas
  • Exhibit the attributes of learn and be curious by demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with a talented team in order to incorporate information about new technologies and business models
  • Cloud experience with at least one of the major public cloud providers
  • Demonstrated ownership and involvement in a recent large Enterprise IT project or software development effort
  • Experience writing technical content, white papers, technical articles, or blog posts
  • Broad based technology experience including cloud computing, big data and analytics, networking, security, storage and ongoing infrastructure management
  • Bilingual or Trilingual - English, Cantonese and Mandarin
