Job Description

About the client:
Our client is a fast-growing leading global ICT Solution company with over 100,000 staffs, and its products and services has been deployed in more than 150 countries. They are now looking for a talented IT infrastructure Presales to take the technical lead role and provide consultancy services for their expanding business in HK.


Responsibilities:

  • Presale support including quote, IT solution design, proposal, pre-sale testing support etc.
  • Identify, develop and close business opportunities with key service provider accounts.
  • Collect and analyze all marketing information.
  • Promote full range of IT Technologies solutions to customers.
  • Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure that these requirements are implemented in the products.
  • Create co-operative business plans with service providers and their partners, help to define new business models and support product features.
  • Develop more IT partners with channel sales manager and win back some competitor partners
  • Identify, quantify, and recommend action plan to address new business opportunities according to overall strategy.

 
Requirements

  • Good knowledge in the fields of Storage,Server and Cloud Computing products.
  • Familiar with other vendors’ Storage and Server products, such as IBM, HP, EMC, NetApp, HDS, Dell, Fujitsu, Lenovo.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs in order to design the desired solution.
  • Over 5 years direct IT experience with a proven sales track record in an international IT equipment company.
  • Previous work experience at distributor or partners of IT vendor or experience at vendor such as IBM, HP, Dell, EMC, NetApp, Fujitsu, and HDS are a big plus.
  • Proven ability to partner with service providers and develop new business models for service subscribers using new technologies.
  • Proven track record of building long-term relationships with strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of people (product management, engineering, marketing).
  • Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
