Job Description

Role Summary:

To supervise and review the payroll administration processed by the outsourced vendor to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and handle administration for benefits related programs.


  • Monitor and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing of all employee payments related to transactions involving new hires, termination, special pay, deductions, and any other related modifications.
  • Resolve day-to-day payroll issues, address payroll/benefits-related inquiries and support the month-end closing process.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure proper documentation for all advices given on payroll matters.
  • Handle and ensure benefit transactions including pension, life and medical insurance are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor costs of insurances, invoices, payment and providing breakdowns to Finance department accordingly
  • Monitor and reconcile all payroll and benefit related accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate fiscal year activities including the preparation of income tax returns.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and reporting requirements to ensure internal and external compliance.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports request from Finance and HR 


  • Degree holder in Business Administration / Human Resources related disciplines
  • With 5-6 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and benefits administration, report analysis. Experience in managing outsourced payroll vendor is a plus
  • Proficiency in HRIS system and MS Excel specifically in Vlookup, Pivot table
  • Positive, employee focused and with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
