Job Description

System Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver mission critical trading systems;
  • Participate in System Design of finance applications;
  • Need to supervise subordinate and review their deliveries
  • Proactively identify any risks / issues in the system
  • To investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least 4 years experience in IT Industries
  • Experience in software design & subordinate supervision
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and knowledge in multi-threaded application design, messaging and event processing
  • Good understanding of Java, C#, Swift, React
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology and demonstrated strong interest in financial application development
  • Result-oriented, strong ability to meet deadline and deliver quality output; and
  • Practical experience in FX/Stock Trading System is required
  • Candidate with lesser experience will be considered for the position of Senior Application Developer
Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
  • Quickly grasp the essence and core concept of new business model and strategy related to the financial domain and translate conceptual user requirements into system requirements;
  • Manage business requirement gatherings, analysis, and produce business requirements documentation and other various type of documents to enable IT and project teams to develop high-quality solutions correctly and efficiently;
  • Responsible for Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), Integration Test, User Acceptance Test (UAT), User Manual & User Training, Requirement Change Request and related items in all phases of system development life cycle;
  • Prepare test strategies and test plans to fulfill testing requirements, resolve testing process questions/issues and define criteria for acceptance;
  • Timely and accurate completion of manual testing as required including regression, system integration and ad hoc testing; and
  • Complete defect reports and verify any fixed issues that are completed.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder in in Business Administration/Information Systems/Computer Sciences or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in financial industry; good knowledge of financial services domain, knowledge of OTC trading would be a plus;
  • Good sense on locating bugs and QA processes;
  • Good time management; self-starter with the ability to work multitask and under pressure;
  • Proactive and independent thinker but good team player;
  • Excellent attention to details;
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication and presentation skills;
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
