Job Description

The Job

  • Technical lead for the planning, design and development of mobile app solutions that meet needs of customers and markets.
  • Manager and lead both internal developers and external development resources to deliver application software platforms and solution in highest quality and stability.
  • Provide guidelines in user requirement review, system and functional design and application design.
  • Review and endorse documentation such as software and system design, test plan, operation manual. Evaluate, design and prototype application architecture and framework
  • Coach team members and participate in problem solving, ensure software quality and guiding code review.
  • Review functional requirement to vendor, review & endorse vendor’s design and implementation docs. Establish and maintain relationship with vendors to ensure systems delivery according to system design and architecture requirement.
  • Establish practices, templates, policies and tools to expand and mature these capabilities and process for the organization.
  • Investigate and resolve system and platform related issues and provide second level support and troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes


The Person

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent areas.
  • At least 7 years of experience in application and system development. Solid working experience in Finance/banking /Fintech industries is preferable.
  • Practical experience in different SDLC methodology, especially SCRUM or other Agile methodology.
  • Well-organized, result-oriented and problem solving skills with analytical mind
  • Proficient in iOS Swift language and its development environment and framework
  • Experience of Android (Kotlin) will be an advantage.
  • App Center, Fastlane, Jerkins and other CI/CD tools is highly preferable.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, be able to work independently and willing to work with a team of programmers and designers
  • Proven multitasking skills and ability to work under a tight schedule and meet critical deadlines
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese is required. Able to communicate in Putonghua will be an advantage.
