Job Description

The manager of Talent Management will be responsible for designing and driving the firmwide talent strategy through expertise and collaboration with key stakeholders. Additionally, will lead the holistic talent strategy - assessment, development, Talent Management and Organizational Development (i.e. performance, engagement, change management and culture). The VP will work with the HRBP, to implement and execute as well as consult where needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own, design, and drive the creation of firmwide talent strategy – in collaboration with business leaders, HRBP. Monitor external trends and business needs to ensure the strategy is relevant for achieving desired results.
  • Activate programs and processes in line with global programs, leveraging best practices of the industry and across the regions.
  • Lead / activate global talent processes annually to ensure the creation of direction, what is to be achieved in year, completion, and roll-up. These would include Talent Assessment, Performance Management, Engagement Survey, Succession Planning, etc. Develops project plans, manages to timelines, and budgets for the process.
  • Partner with Business Unit HR leads to lead the work on the organization and ensure linkage of company strategy to structure, strategic workforce planning, culture, communication, and performance. Partner with HRBP, and communications lead to ensure driving a performance culture and that employees are effective and engaged.


  • At least 5 years of progressive, global experience in talent management functions is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Human Resources or related field, from an accredited college or university, is required. Master’s Degree or MBA is strongly preferred. Certifications in global assessment tools or training programs a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin, written and spoken both required.
  • Strong ability to lead and apply organizational and change theories; ability to influence change at all levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal/ influencing skills. Proven ability dealing with all levels of management, developing relationships within the organization, and leveraging the formal and informal organizational structure to assist in goal achievement.
  • Multi-cultural literacy, sensitivity to cultural differences and interpersonal and leadership flexibility across different cultural contexts.
  • Ability to inspire action and lead cross-functional to achieve results without direct authority.
  • Broad business acumen and systems thinking, continuous learning approach to the business and strong curiosity to understand others' contexts.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent at multiple organizational levels.
  • Facilitation skills and high level of comfort facilitating senior level discussions.
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills with the ability to speak concisely and to adapt messages to a range of audiences.
