About the role

This role is for perspective applicants who specialized in the technical side of software implementation projects and product development, they will act as our technical leader, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise of software architecture and design to clients, team members, and software engineers.

 

Job Duties

• Project requirements clarification on solution architecture and design

• System development, testing, integration and implementation

• Advising on the creation of system documentations and testing methodologies and procedures

• Provide technical leadership to CBX’s teams' in-house software development as well as consulting projects

• Based in Hong Kong but may require travel according to project needs

 

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering equivalent

• Suitable post graduate working experience – 6+ years

• Experience in software architecture, design and development within the software development life cycle

• Experience in architecting and guiding the development team to implement scalable and high performance web applications for enterprise clients

• Self-initiated, analytical, innovative, good communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work under pressure, willing to face challenges

• Willing to travel

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin

 

Candidates with relevant experience in any of the following areas will be particularly well received:

• Experience with: Java, Spring boot, and various leading technologies; UNIX (e.g. Sun Solaris) and Linux platforms; database design and management

• Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar experience in other public cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform

• Enterprise integration and messaging, including EDI and MQSeries -ERP or International Trade, Finance and Logistics

• Experience in modernizing legacy applications is a big plus

• Competence in RESTful API, MongoDB, Swagger, and Microservices

• Competence in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis

• Previous working experiences in DevOps, with Jenkins and SonarQube
