Technical Service Management Manager

Our Client

Our client is an international firm in professional services with over 5000 employees globally and Asia offices in Hong Kong, PRC, and Singapore

The Role

  • Responsible for daily management and service delivery of all local IT support activities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and manage training and development for a team of 2nd level support engineers
  • Review the Service Improvement Plans in conjunction with the business community to improve the effectiveness and overall performance of the 2nd level support function
  • Evaluate new technology products introduced by global IT and lead deployment for the region, providing training and educating staff on how to deploy and support
  • Participate in process reviews and the analyses of existing business processes to identify improvement areas
  • Provide technology expertise and help to executing large-scale technology transformation projects across the region
  • Provide procurement support to the team and liaise with expertise in specific areas including desktop hardware, desktop software, remote services, user administration and training

To Qualify

  • Degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in technical service management of which over 2 years in managing team
  • Strong technical skills across end user desktop applications and technologies, meeting room technologies and mobile/remote working technologies in professional services or MNC firm
  • Ability to translate technical features into business processes and user-friendly learning modules
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • A certified ITIL professional
