About the role

Our Hong Kong Learning & Development Specialist role is responsible for working closely with business stakeholders to design and manage effective training and learning solutions (internal with L&D in the region or external with vendors) which upskill our frontline employees to enhance future development opportunities.
What this job involves:
All rounded learning & development
As the Learning & Development (L&D) specialist, you will be part of the solutions to drive technical training initiatives locally (engineering, health and safety, built environment and hospitality). With operations experience and mindset, this role will include coordinating and executing the technical L&D initiatives for Hong Kong frontline employees in line with regional and global priorities.
The role will demand your focus and capabilities in building the technical training roadmap that will help us improve our business and better service our clients. You’ll be accountable for analysing, coordinating and ensuring an agile and business-focused technical training framework that will stand the test of time.
Focus on employees’ technical upskilling
All technical training matters will need your keen attention at all times. You’ll ensure that JLL continues to build the required technical skills, knowledge and credentials of its employees and delivers to clients’ expectations. This will be possible if you are able to leverage technology and data to analyse, report updates and provide recommendations on any technical training activities.
We also want you to be managing external trainers/vendors and internal delivery. In our matrixed organization your spirit of collaboration will ensure high efficiency and quality of L&D function. You will lead a training and professional license tracking to ensure we are complying with the regulations and client requirements.
Strong facilitation skills and experience with all levels of the organization is key for the role.

You will need at least 3 years’ experience within training or operations related role ideally in engineering, health and safety, built environment and hospitality. You’ll be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders across accounts.
You may not be a technical or IT expert, but you can speak confidently about different tech stacks. Or you are fancy with leveraging technology to improve the process efficiency and training data insights.
Have you worked in a task driven role? You will need to have this type of experience to succeed in this role. Your work in a high volume, high turnover environment will have perfected your time management and organisation skills.
Can you get your ideas across clearly both verbally and in writing? You’ll be working with many diverse interest groups so the way you share information and your ability to persuasively convey information is highly important. Strong interpersonal skills are key to this role to establish credibility and respect with internal stakeholders and potential external talent.
