Job Description

CLPe Solutions (formerly CLP Engineering Limited), incorporated in Hong Kong in 1985, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CLP Holdings Limited with extensive experience in providing total energy solution. The company undertakes a variety of services including energy management solutions, distributed energy as well as power engineering, infrastructure and facilities management. We are looking for energetic and innovative engineering professionals to join the Power Engineering Branch of Contracting Business Department. Reporting to the Assistant Project Manager, the appointees will be responsible for the following duties: 

  • Carry out work schedule planning for in-house Erection and Testing teams
  • Carry out tools and material acquisition for site work execution
  • Carry out installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of HV & LV electrical installation
  • Supervise tradesmen and contractors to carry out equipment erection, pre-commissioning testing and commissioning works
  • Conduct protection relay acceptance test, site checks and audits to ensure safety standards and good housekeeping practices are maintained at work sites
  • Follow up electrical installation defects with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate site activities with other parties
  • Manage the equipment store and maintain its accuracy
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering plus at least 3 years’ relevant working experience
  • Solid experience in HV & LV plant installation, modification, testing and commissioning
  • Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills and is a good team player
  • Possession of Registered Electrical Worker with grade A or above
  • Possession of a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferable
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Technical Assistant
