Job Description
Professional Education and Engagement Centre (PEEC), a self-financed Centre under HKDI (a flagship Design Institution under Vocational Training Council (VTC), is a recognised professional training provider for the creative industries in Hong Kong. We offer a wide spectrum of award-bearing and non-award-bearing courses, international executive programmes and seminars, covering architecture, BIM, branding, digital media, fashion and photography, film and TV production, interior design, music, etc. Our target audiences are professionals, corporations, academic institutions, government departments, and the public. The purpose is to develop creativity and talent, multidisciplinary knowledge and skills, cross over of ideas and practices for business growth and career advancements.
Major Duties:
(a) To formulate and implement business development plan and strategic initiatives of the Centre;
(b) To build industry network and seek sponsorship and partnership;
(c) To develop new services or projects such as international programmes and corporate training to meet the needs of the industry;
(d) To oversee the programme administration, marketing and publicity of the Centre;
(e) To manage the strategic marketing and promotion of the Centre; and
(f) To supervise the operations of PEEC office and ensure the effective management of manpower and financial related matters.
(a) A recognized degree in Business / Management / Communication / Social Sciences or related disciplines;
(b) At least 3 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in strategic marketing, business development, project management, research and copywriting;
(c) Experience in supervising a team would be an advantage;
(d) Sound knowledge of the local continuing education market would be an advantage;
(e) Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills;
(f) Proactive and able to be multi-tasking and work independently; and
(g) Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
(1) The post is in the rank of Lecturer.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test in both English and Chinese.
(3) Successful candidate may be required to work on shift / outside normal office hours.
(4) Immediately available would be an advantage.
