Job Description

An European bank is hiring for its Trade Finance Operations department. They are looking for an experienced individual to join the team. Candidate needs to be familiar with Import, Export and the whole Trade Finance flow. Intersted candidates must habve minimum 3 years of Trade Finance and Operations experience.

Responsibilities:

  • First check import/export documents drawn under L/Cs and ensures that the documents are in order prior to payment/negotiation
  • Handling full set of import/export documents relating to trade transactions
  • Issuance of L/C, e.g. back to back L/C, front back L/C, transfer L/C, standby L/C etc
  • Add silent confirmation to L/C
  • Handle risk participation related to trade product e.g. funded and non-funded basis under silent participation.
  • Booking import/export financing loans and settlement of loans on due date
  • Handle reimbursement claim
  • Checking AML before processing all transactions relating to trade transactions
  • Monitors / follow up the outstanding bills or import/export loans
  • Handle other works assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

  • Bills checking and bills knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in trade finance and operations
  • Good attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Familiar with Microsoft Windows (Excel, Word)
