Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Marks Coordinator / Secretary candidate, this is a combination of Trade Marks secretarial and administration position. Details please see below:

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting correspondence with clients/agents
  • Following up with the Trade Marks Registry on clients’ Trade Mark issues
  • Responsible for conducting online searches in Hong Kong and elsewhere
  • Assist with client research and meeting preparations
  • Compile reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Update in-house database and file records
  • Assist in trade marks formalities
  • Assist with workflow management
  • Outdoor work may be necessary (e.g. conducting simple market research, retrieving information at public libraries) 
  • General administration and clerical support if required

Requirements

  • Degree holder. Possesses a degree in Law is an advantage
  • Relevant trade marks / IP experience preferable
  • High proficiency of online-searching skills
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Good communications and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Team player and detail-oriented, self-motivated and pro-active
  • Good Chinese typing skills
  • Good knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software
