Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Underwriting to manage and support the Underwriting team to achieve company’s new business and departmental target
  • Solid experience with distribution channels and provide various prestige underwriting services, especially in HNW business Underwrite and approve medical / non-medical cases within authority, company’s service standard and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and propose improvement areas within underwriting process
  • Provide pre-underwriting service
  • Handle enquiries from sales channel to facilitate daily operations, prepare training materials and conduct training to sales to enhance mutual communications and facilitate the underwriting process
  • Assist in preparation of monthly operations reports for management and handle ad-hoc underwriting projects

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder with professional insurance qualification
  • Minimum 6 years solid underwriting experience in life insurance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong product knowledge with market sense in life insurance business
  • Self-driven person with strong communication, presentation and problem solving techniques
  • High emotional maturity, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Quality-oriented and good integrity
  • Ability to be multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
