Job Description

Our client is a US based bank providing full service branch, offering a wide range of corporate banking financial services to its customers and developing new business from customers who have ties in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.


  • Keep abreast of the latest development in regulatory laws, regulations and rules, follow up the management systems of the Head Office and other relevant units, accurately and timely grasp relevant themes and analyze their impacts on the bank’s operation.
  • Establish the bank’s framework of compliance policies and assist the lines of business by reviewing their policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and the Board approved policies.
  • Supervise and complete any periodical and non-periodic reports, statements, evaluation, investigation matters required by HKMA, SFC, CR and other regulators.
  • Take charge of managing the bank’s compliance risks, conduct compliance review and investigation.
  • Evaluate new products and take charge of compliance risk evaluation.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel for preparing legal documents and obtaining legal advice and be directly responsible for providing legal comments or simple legal drafting in response to user’s request.
  • Lead ad-hot projects as required.


  • Bachelor or above and major in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law preferred.
  • Over 8 years’ relevant experience.
  • Familiar with operations of local financial institutions, and the framework and duty segregation of local regulators,
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Mandarin preferred.
