Job Description

Applications are invited by the Hong Kong office of Maples Group for the position of

Vice President – Registrar and Transfer Agency Services

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Vice President of Registrar and Transfer Agency Services in the provision of share registrar and transfer agency services;
  • The successful candidate will have direct experience in an Alternative Fund Services industry, have experience with recognized share registrar and transfer agency software systems and have experience in processing subscriptions, redemptions, share transfers, dividend payments and capital calls;
  • He/she will have direct experience with series of shares processing and equalization methodology, intermediary and dealer commission and trailer fees, multiple front and back end load fee structures, Cayman Islands confidentiality, anti-money laundering requirements and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • The successful candidate must have a sound academic background;
  • He/she must have a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in registrar and transfer agency services, in which at least 2 years’ are in management position. Good knowledge on Private Equity is an asset;
  • Fluent in written and oral English. Language ability in Putonghua would be an advantage;
  • Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skill plus excellent communication skills;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
