- Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and make suggestions for strategic improvements.
- Preparing detailed reports about the findings and suggesting changes to enhance business operations.
- Collaborating with IT teams to design and implement new solutions, strategies and processes.
- Constantly reviewing and updating existing processes, procedures and systems to meet evolving business needs.
How to become a Business Analyst
Business Analysts help improve the efficiency and productivity of a business through data analysis. Their insight helps organisations improve operations, reduce costs and enhance overall performance. A deep knowledge of the company’s operations would be an advantage.
- 1.A degree in business, quantitative analysis, IT, or a related discipline.
- 2.Relevant work experience as a business analyst is a plus.
- 3.Understands process mapping, networks, databases and other related technology
- 4.Some companies may require proficiency in platforms such as Microsoft Power Business Intelligence, Atlassian Jira, Python, and Tableau.
- 5.Strong communication skills (oral and written), solid analytical thinking/problem-solving skills, and is very organised and detail-oriented.
