- Communicating effectively with dispatch or management for routing instructions or reporting incidents.
- Providing excellent customer service, assisting with loading and unloading if required.
- Following procedures related to payment arrangements or paperwork for transport-related activities.
How to become a Driver
A Driver is primarily responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, people or services from one location to another. This role includes responsibilities like adhering to traffic laws, maintaining the vehicle and performing basic repairs when needed.
- Holder of a Hong Kong driver’s license (Type of license will vary, depending on the company’s requirements).
- Clean traffic record; some companies may require a Certificate of No Recorded Traffic Conviction from the Hong Kong government.
- Having years of driving experience is required.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong roads and traffic regulations.
- Sound knowledge of car mechanics and basic inspection skills to solve car problems.
- Must be service-oriented, with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
