How to become a Programmer
Programmers write the code that makes up software programs. Activities typically involve collaborating with a team to design and implement software solutions, testing and debugging code and maintaining and updating existing systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or any related discipline.
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.).
- Years of working experience in the related field, i.e., software development in backend and frontend, web or software applications, API web services, maintenance, and support. Some companies might look for experience in managing software vendors, as well.
- Observes compliance with IT security requirements.
- Creative, detail-oriented, a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
