Tasks and duties

• Assisting individuals, families and groups in enhancing their wellbeing and resolving personal, social or psychological problems.
• Evaluating clients' needs and situations through interviews, counselling sessions and case assessments.
• Creating and implementing treatment plans based on clients' needs, and modifying these plans as necessary over time.
• Referring clients to community services, resources or specialists to support their treatment or recovery process.
• Keeping detailed records and preparing reports documenting clients' history and progress.
• Responding to crisis situations such as child abuse, mental health emergencies or domestic violence incidents.
• Advocating or acting as a mediator for clients to resolve disputes, provide assistance or clarify information.
