How to become a Structural Engineer
Structural Engineers focus on designing, planning, and researching structures to ensure safety and functionality. A degree in a related discipline and certification from the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers is required.
- 1.Bachelor's Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2.Working experience in a related field.
- 3.Proficiency in AUTOCAD software.
- 4.Must be a Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (MHKIE) and have a certification from the HKIE.
- 5.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
