Zookeepers are responsible for the daily care and welfare of animals within a zoo, ensuring their needs for shelter, food, and psychological well-being are met. They play a crucial role in monitoring the health of the animals, administering medications as needed, and maintaining clean and enriching habitats. Zookeepers also engage in educating the public about wildlife conservation and the specific needs of different species through talks and demonstrations. Working in zoos, wildlife parks, and aquariums, they collaborate with veterinarians, conservationists, and research staff to support breeding programs and research projects aimed at wildlife preservation.
