It was not a bad experience, it was a traumatic one. It is the egos and stupidity of some of the staff that will shock you. The good thingsThey pay on time. Only work here if you are in a bad financial state and have no option. Their curriculum is good. Some centre managers are awesome and friendly. The children are fun and very affectionate.
The challengesWhere do I begin, they do dirt to their teachers by overcharging on rent, utilities, etc but don't pay overtime. They deny your leave with trumped up excuses just so they can make their lives easier. There is no stability as they constantly change things and staff. They are in general exploiting the teachers. They expect you to work in unfavorable conditions. If you speak up they uproot you. They tend to keep the bad teachers who can't cut it anywhere else and thus developed a knack for rear kissing. They entertain office gossip and politics and uproot the victim as a quick fix. The pay structure is unfair to teachers who have been at the company for years. They would rather replace you than reaching an amicable solution. Therefore, you will find yourself working in a soft iron clad unbreathable prison contract. They change staff ĺike they change underwear. Communication is poor. You have to teach 2 or 3 classes at once. You are evaluated unfairly.
