Assistant Officer, Human Resources and Administration (6 months contract)
Hong Kong Microelectronics Research and Development Institute (MRDI) is established to seize the huge potential market for third-generation semiconductors and align with the national strategy for technological development.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Officer will support the Human Resources and Administration Department (HRA) by providing administrative and coordination support across a full spectrum of HR and office administration functions, including:
Providing administrative support in talent acquisition activities, including job posting, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding arrangements.
Assisting the work visa application and documentation.
Assisting in compensation and benefits administration, including maintaining employee records, supporting leave management, and handling HR documentation.
Supporting learning and development initiatives, including coordinating training programmes, enrolment, and training records management.
Supporting office administration, including office supplies management, vendor coordination, facilities arrangements, and day-to-day office operations.
Assisting in the filing of various documentation, ensuring proper record-keeping and strict confidentiality.
Coordinating meetings and events, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and preparation of materials.
Preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; performing data entry and basic reconciliation as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
Higher Diploma holder or above in Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in human resources and/or administrative functions.
Experience in handling work visa / Hong Kong Immigration Department applications is an advantage.
Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); Chinese word processing is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Detail-minded, well-organised and able to handle multiple tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
The incumbent will normally work five days a week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
