Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to support both finance transformation initiatives and business unit financial management. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving ERP system enhancements and supporting digital finance transformation projects, while overseeing financial and management accounting activities for assigned business units.
(1) ERP Systems and Finance Transformation
Administer and maintain ERP systems, including management of finance user accounts, assessment of business requirements, user access controls and authorization configurations.
Provide first-line functional support and troubleshooting assistance to users.
Participate in ERP enhancement projects, software upgrades and digital transformation initiatives, including business process reviews and re-engineering, gap analysis and solution design, and go-live and post-implementation support.
Participate in finance automation, reporting enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.
(2) Financial and Management Accounting
Handle full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned business units.
Prepare monthly management reports, business performance analyses and variance commentaries to support management decision-making.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders on audit, taxation and regulatory matters.
Support statutory reporting, tax filings and compliance requirements.
Review financial performance and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business results.
Participate in budget preparation, forecasting and ad-hoc business analysis.
Participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent professional qualification)
At least 5 years of working experience gained from sizeable corporations.
Hands-on experience with SAP and/or other ERP systems is required.
Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS); familiarity with PRC accounting practices would be an advantage.
Experience in ERP implementation, system enhancement projects or digital finance transformation initiatives would be a strong advantage.
Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate is a plus.
Independent with hands-on approach and continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
