Hong Kong Pastry Chef / 港式點心及糕點廚師

We are recruiting for food and beverage service positions at our group's flagship resort hotel in Jeju Island, South Korea. The requirements are as follows:

Hong Kong Pastry Chef

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare Hong Kong-style pastry and bakery products.

• Produce products according to approved recipes and quality standards.

• Prepare dough, fillings, sauces and pastry components.

• Manage daily pastry production and mise en place.

• Maintain consistency in taste, texture and presentation.

• Control portioning, product yield and wastage.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry area.

• Support new product development and seasonal menu items when required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of pastry/bakery experience preferred.

• Candidates must be able to provide employment certificates/proof of at least 5 years of relevant work experience, together with a certificate showing completion of at least 6 months of study or professional training from a culinary/cooking institute.

• Experience in Hong Kong/Cantonese pastry and bakery products preferred.

• Good knowledge of dough preparation, fillings and baking techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and product consistency.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

• Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred.

• 負責香港風味糕點及烘焙產品的製作。

• 按照批准的菜譜及品質標準製作產品。

• 準備麵團、餡料、醬料及其他糕點原材料。

• 負責每日糕點生產及備料工作。

• 確保產品在口味、口感及外觀方面保持一致。

• 控制產品份量、出成率及損耗。

• 保持糕點工作區域的清潔及衛生。

• 根據需要協助新產品開發及季節性功能表產品的製作。

任職資格及經驗要求

• 至少 5年糕點/烘焙相關工作經驗者優先。（* 須提供5年以上工作證明以及料理烹飪學院6個月以上已修或培訓結業證書）

• 具有香港/粵式糕點及烘焙產品製作經驗者優先。

• 熟悉麵團製作、餡料及烘焙技術。

• 注重細節並能夠保持產品品質及一致性。

• 具備良好的食品衛生及廚房安全意識。

• 會粵語和/或普通話者優先。
